Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

What disappointed you about The Hunger Games?

The story line! Maybe I am totally out of touch with the real world, but to have an "event" to kill kids is absolutely out of touch with what the world SHOULD be trying to promote. Plus, the killing PREPERATION is crazy.....but then that is only my opinion. It kills ME to trash the download, but I may just do that rather than listen to $15 of pure horror!

Music has set the tone for most of Zoe Baxter’s life. And it’s music that brings her back to love. When fertility issues lead to a divorce, Zoe throws herself into her career as a music therapist. As an unexpected friendship with a woman slowly blossoms into love, she makes plans for a new life, but to her shock and inevitable rage, some people - even those she loves and trusts most - don’t want that to happen.

YUCK!!! I have always loved Picoult but this book ended my affair with her novels.
