This is a fun mystery series. The narration is excellent that makes a good story even better!
This is the second of William Martin's books that I have listened to. The historical elements mixed with modern-day mystery are excellent. Please get more of his titles!
I have now heard all the books in this series and very much enjoyed each one. Good mysteries with great humor!
Though this first book in this series is not my favorite it hooked me enough to listen to the entire series. Throughout the series the narration by Barbara Rosenblat adds much to the experience.
I am listening my way through this series and enjoying all of them. I would love to see all of this series available through Audible and narrated by Davina Porter.
I am just starting this series after reading Anne Perry's William Monk series. I enjoyed this book but, so far, the characters don't seem quite as well-developed as the characters in the Monk series.
I discovered the William Monk series while searching for books narrated by Davina Porter. This is the first of the Anne Perry series I have read - I don't usually read novels set in this time period - but am enjoying the characters and stories. (Unfortunately, it appears that several in the series are not available on Audible and that later books have a different narrator. As a Davina Porter fan, it remains to be seen if I will like them as well with another narrator.)
This is by far the best of the Lord John Grey books. Or, perhaps, I enjoyed it more because so much of the story centered around Jamie Fraser. I only wish it had been narrated by Davina Porter. While the narrators do a fine job with the other characters, Jamie's voice is not quite right.
I have enjoyed all of the Andy Carpenter books - and hope David Rosenfelt continues to write them. As always, Grover Gardner does an excellent job with the narration.
I love the Outlander series - maybe as much for the amazing performance of the narrator as for the story.
