It's Christmas Eve and Detective Alex Cross has been called out to catch someone who's robbing his church's poor box. That mission behind him, Alex returns home to celebrate with Bree, Nana, and his children. The tree decorating is barely underway before his phone rings again - a horrific hostage situation is quickly spiraling out of control. Away from his own family on the most precious of days, Alex calls upon every ounce of his training, creativity, and daring to save another family.

Would you consider the audio edition of Merry Christmas, Alex Cross to be better than the print version?

Don't have time for print version, so I don't know

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

No, not really. There was nothing unexpected in this one. Would like to see something totally outside the box.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    Didn't have a favorite.

Two masters of epic fantasy have combined in this brilliant collaboration to create a rousing tale. This is the story of Shana, a half-breed born of the forbidden union of an Elvenlord father with a human mother. Her exiled mother dead, Shana was rescued and raised by dragons, a proud, ancient race who existed unbeknownst to elven or human kind. From birth, Shana was the embodiment of the Prophecy that the all-powerful Elvenlords feared. Her destiny is the enthralling adventure of a lifetime.

What made the experience of listening to The Elvenbane the most enjoyable?

I looked forward to what kind of characters was going to come along next.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Elvenbane?

When everyone realized they could not just sit and do nothing, they had to make a change for a better future.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I liked knowing that I could make this story last. Didn't want it to end.

    Any additional comments?

I thought there would be a different ending, wonder if there will be a continuing book. I would get it if there was.
