The performance/reading of the story takes away from the story line - it is slow and you can hear the intake of breath when the narrator is reading the story.
I haven't had the experience with another book where the narration is so slow.
Too long of pauses, sometimes I think my Kindle shut off, intake of breath very apparent when reading. And the overall reading is way too slow. As a result, the story line gets a bit boring.
The performance of the book makes the story, even when it is a good story line, if the performance isn't great, it takes away from the book.
I enjoyed the narration - the voices were good and certainly enhanced the story.
Lots of great suspense and interesting story line.
I haven't read the print, however the audio was fantastic and expressive.
Katniss - for her morale compass
Story about how the Mockingjay pin was received and the meaning.
Lots of moments, either of shock, sadness, or a chuckle.
I would definately recommend this book, due to the great writing and surprise ending. Loved the different voices.
none to compare
lots of times I would shed a few tears... of heartache
