    Would you listen to Life After Death again? Why?

    Yes. I've followed Damien Echols's story for many years; finally hearing what it was like for him in his own voice was a humbling and amazing experience.


    What does Damien Echols bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Damien Echols has a very distinct accent and manner of speech. Getting to hear him read his own words made the story all the more real and moving.

    Damien's story is an amazing one. He is completely open in this book and completely lets the readers into his life in a very brave way. I found myself laughing and smiling as I listened to the book and even tearing up at points. No matter if you have heard of his story before or not, this book would be well worth a listen.

    What did you love best about One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?

    John C. Reilly did a fantastic job narrating this book. He managed to read in "voices" for each of the characters without making it sound overdone or silly. He made them real in a way that I would not have gotten from reading this book.


    Have you listened to any of John C. Reilly’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    I have not, but would love to listen to more.

    This book is a classic and well worth the read, but even better is a great listen. This is it.
