Andrew "Ender" Wiggin was not the only child in the Battle School; he was just the best of the best. In this book, Card tells the story of another of those precocious generals, the one they called Bean, the one who became Ender's right hand, part of his team, in the final battle against the Buggers. Bean's past was a battle just to survive. His success brought him to the attention of the Battle School's recruiters.

During James T. Kirk's heroic five year mission as captain of the Starship Enterprise, a mysterious alien threat called "The Totality" commenced its stealthy invasion, intending to conquer the Milky Way galaxy as it had conquered the Andromeda. Now the time for secrecy has passed, and a war unlike any other has begun, one that threatens to destroy the Federation, first by bringing warp travel to an end, and then by absorbing all living matter into an unknown realm.

Neil deGrasse Tyson has a talent for guiding readers through the mysteries of outer space with stunning clarity and almost childlike enthusiasm. This collection of his essays from Natural History magazine explores a myriad of cosmic topics. Tyson introduces us to the physics of black holes by explaining what would happen to our bodies if we fell into one; he also examines the needless friction between science and religion, and notes Earth's status as "an insignificantly small speck in the cosmos".

Lind says: "Well written and well read"
    "Blackholes for Morons"
    Overall

I like science and technology, and I don't like the Idea of being like the people from the movie Morons from outer space (Mel Smith) so many people I meet today don't know how the things work even a little, so this gives you some understanding in a enjoyment way, not just maths, formulators and equations, you need to listen to it a couple of time to remember all the information it offers, but it's worth it.
I listened to it while I was working.
I personnel think it's work buying.

Charles Chilton's classic science-fiction trilogy stormed the BBC airwaves during the 1950s. Its gripping story lines, extra-terrestrial sound effects, and atmospheric music engaged listeners as never before. Between 1953 and 1958, a devoted audience of adults and children attentively followed Captain Jet Morgan and his crew from one cliff-hanger to another as, together, they faced the unknown perils of space.

Niels J. Rasmussen says: "Well Worth It Despite A Slow Start..."
    "outdated but good"
    Overall

It's outdated in some of it's contents but it is still good to sit back and listen to, I have listened to all of the radio broadcast on my MP3, Luna. Red planet and in peril, although they got some thing incorrect IE TV Signals had not reached mars!! and the radio needed a huge amount of power to reach earth, when Voyager signals come to earth even now and only have the strength of a torch bulb. What I say is to forget what we know now and just enjoy it, It would may a good movie, If I had the money I would make it( up dated of course).
