"The best book on relationships ever."
Yes, I highly recommend this book to everyone who want to be or who is in a relationship. It is scientific, straight to the point. You can see changes in your life from the first day you listen to the book.
If you were like me, i've read many relationship and self-help books, they speak of generic stuff like "be there her!", "support your lovers", "being available", "listen carefully to your other" or "provide security". I've never been able to put actions out of the advices in these books.
However, this book is different. This book is scientific, straight to the point, based on biological and psychological facts. It is easy to understand and I got the whole idea quickly.
Many of the examples as if they were copied from my life directly.
The performance was very helpful and made the dry content of the book enjoyable.
Yes
"The story was great, but bad performance"
if the author or someone really good, narrate this story.
The storyline is amazing the journey in Aleph.
The narrator was making voices to change characters and he tried to make some accents too. This was very bad attempt from him.
Plus, there wasn't any energy. the performance of the Alchemist was way better and that person might be appropriate for this book too.
"Understand why we eat the way we eat!"
Yes, because it is very light content and the information was more like storytelling.
I love the way how can we engineer our environment so that we can eat less. The book describes every chapter couple of engineering techniques that helps to re-shape the surrounding environment to eat better.
The voice of the book was about the author talking to the readers about his findings and how did he researched this topic.
I loved the findings of how much people are oblivious about their eating habits. like the when the bones was cleaned regularly, people would eat more and expect they eat the same. Also, sharing food with people will affect how much people will eat.
This is an amazing book and I wish if the author can continue publishing books in the same area.
"enjoyed the book and it opened new door for research"
The beauty about this audio book is that it is narrated by Malcolm Gladwell himself. So he gives the chance to tell what he wanted in his own way.
The articles are nice and they answer difficult questions like what the dog saw, what interviews can tell us (the new boy network) and rewarding talents and companies with star systems (the talent myth).
In summary, I've enjoyed the book and it opened new door for me to research. Also, it is noted that the questions that Malcolm is asking are very similar to those questions in the Freakonomics to which Malcolm refer to many times.
Loved the book. However, it doesn't have a property of single book because it is a series of articles. Its not worth buying the hardcopy. I've listened to the Audio book in audible and and it was worthwhile.
"Amazing Journey deep inside"
I love every single part of this journey. Specially the silence between words (you will appreciate them too after you listen to this audio). Lots of laughs and many things (or one thing actually) you learn about yourself like drama, body pain, living in the vertical dimension. If you are looking and discovering enlightenment or i think it is important if you are deeply into this and you like to understand the core concepts beyond techniques, this will be something that you will enjoy. The questions add lots of value and to listen to this couple times and try to be listen to it in the "Now", you will be amazed how each time you will get fulfillment from it.
Although, you might think that when he talks very slow and low steady tone, that this will be really boring! However, you will find him really funny and his way of narrating this is very useful and it is aligned with the topic. Because Echart talks about silence and stillness, he resembles all aspects of stillness.
Be still and know I am God.
"Nothing more than a story"
The story of how facebook is impacting people's lives specially the part of One Million Voices Against FARC.
Nothing is this book was of a real value. You cannot learn anything from this not from the business side nor from the social side.
