New York book editor Maris Matherly-Reed knows a best seller when she sees one - even if it is just a tantalizing partial manuscript submitted by a writer identified only as P.M.E., with the return address of an obscure island off the Georgia coast. Maris is intrigued enough to search for him.

Kept my attention the entire time. Loved the plot and all the twists and turns. The characters were very interesting and just when you thought you knew what was going on...you didn't. Performance was excellent and overall it was very enjoyable.

Bought this book to listen to because of the reviews. I, however, didn't "get it" as a book that kept my attention. I did listen to the entire book but it was a chore, not something I looked forward to as I usually do. Performance was good with all the southern accents but the story to me was stupid. If this is a series, I'm not a fan.

I always enjoy Nora Roberts but this book was by far my favorite. The storyline was so interesting and the main character so compelling that I truly enjoyed every minute of it. The narrator did such a good job I'm going to look up other books she has narrated to see if I can get another one. Can't give this one enough stars!!!

The narrator didn't fit the story. This is the first time I didn't finish an audiobook. The story never clicked in and I think it was the narration for the most part. I usually can't wait to get back to listening to a book but this one--not so much.
