Is there anything you would change about this book?

There aren't a ton of details because it is a set of 3 short stories. Felt like I was thrown into the story in the beginning.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Derek Perkins?

A woman narrator. The narrator just didn't make me feel like the characters were supposed to look from the words the author used to describe them.

    Any additional comments?

Hot love scenes...but it is a collection of 3 short story's so I don't guess there is too much other you could add before it became a whole trilogy. I did not like the first story as much as the last 2.

I think it is worth a credit.

She knows nothing about being a wife, nothing about how to run a household, and definitely nothing about the marriage bed. From the moment Ross MacKay sets eyes on Annabel, he is taken with his shy, sweet bride...and the fact that she's blessed with lush curves only makes him utter his own prayers of thanks. But when an enemy endangers her life, he'll move the Highlands themselves to save her.

I had great hopes for a fun easy to listen to book. While it was an easy listen...and it was a sweet story...it just lacked in the writing department. I don't know what it was but the love scenes were strange....just the way they were written. most of the book just gave me the feeling it was a writers first book...but I have no idea if it was or wasnt...just seemed that way.

I don't think it is worth a credit. Maybe if you get it really really cheap.. but I was dissapointed.

Narration was fine. Not bad..not great. Just fine.

Lethally charming Simon Blair, Marquess of Lisburne, has reluctantly returned to London for one reason only: a family obligation. Still, he might make time for the seduction of a certain redheaded dressmaker - but Leonie Noirot hasn't time for him. She's obsessed with transforming his cousin, the dowdy Lady Gladys, into a swan. Leonie's skills can coax curves - and profits - from thin air, but his criminally handsome lordship is too busy trying to seduce her to appreciate her genius.

I enjoyed this book. I did feel like the story and relationship development was not as well done as the other books. I wasn't as invested with this sisters relationship, but would say it was a nice wrap up to the series. I hated the epilogue ..... I mean no spoilers but it wasn't what I wanted in an epilogue!

My Sunshine Away unfolds in a Baton Rouge neighborhood best known for cookouts on sweltering summer afternoons, cauldrons of spicy crawfish, and passionate football fandom. But in the summer of 1989, when 15-year-old Lindy Simpson - free spirit, track star, and belle of the block - experiences a horrible crime late one evening near her home, it becomes apparent that this idyllic stretch of Southern suburbia has a dark side, too.

This is a story of my city....my school....my friends....with all the little deep dark secrets I never knew. This book may be about a boy growing up and his perfect world changing before his eyes....but to me it was a story that touched my heart and soul and brought back memories of black smoke rising from my school, milk crates, parties after dances, friends I haven't seen since graduation....memories of a childhood.

The narrator does a good job. He is not perfect but he is still very good.

    This book is a mystery...and a coming of age....a little dark....but it's honest. I can't wait for more from M.O. Walsh.

    Worth a credit for sure!

Drama, Suspense, Mystery, Love, Hate.......Laugh, Cry, longing....this book has it all.

A blue-eyed innocent on the outside and a shark on the inside, dressmaker Sophy Noirot could sell sand to Bedouins. Selling Maison Noirot's beautiful designs to aristocratic ladies is a little harder, especially since a recent family scandal has made an enemy of one of society's fashion leaders. Turning scandal to the shop's advantage requires every iota of Sophy's skills, leaving her little patience for a big, reckless rake like the Earl of Longmore.

The attraction started taking root in the first book Silk is for Seduction. I really like Sophy in book one...but I Loved her in this one. I could not stand Longmore in book one...but he is adorable, sweet, and funny in this book. I especially enjoyed him talking to himself.

I loved the back and forth banter between Sophy and Longmore. Their's is a much lighter and sweet relationship than Marceline and Cleveland's which was smoldering and passionate. that's not to say there isn't passion....there is a lot....maybe more.

There aren't a lot of twists and turns in this plot.....it is not as complex as the first. It's an easier, lighter listen with more fun. I smiled, laughed and even teared up. It is well worth a credit...great series!

Brilliant and ambitious dressmaker Marcelline Noirotis London's rising star. And who better to benefit from her talent than the worst-dressed lady in the ton, the Duke of Clevedon's intended bride? Winning the future duchess' patronage means prestige and fortune for Marcelline and her sisters. To get to the lady, though, Marcelline must win over Clevedon, whose standards are as high as his morals are...not. The prize seems well worth the risk-but this time Marcelline's met her match.

Loved this book. After Lord of Scoundrels I was eager to listen to more books by Chase. "Silk" didn't disappoint! I actually liked Marcelline's character and LOVED the witty dialogue between her and pretty much every character she encountered.

All the elements were there for a great HEA. I was frustrated, teared up, laughed out loud and felt sorrow. I can't wait to get into the next books in the series.

Kate Reading is the MASTER! I would listen to her read the phone book. She is OUTSTANDING as usual.

Worth a credit..... Chase is becoming one of my favorite authors quickly!

She'll find him a bride if it's the last thing she does. And it very well might be. Evangeline may be powerfully persuasive in her way, but convincing the notoriously wild Highland king Lachlan MacLeod to strengthen his alliances with a strategic marriage seems to be asking the impossible. Stubborn and proud, Lachlan seems determined to go against her will, even if it means endangering the people he's sworn to protect and the enchanted isle that has already seen so much discord. Yet the battle-scarred Highlander cannot ignore his sultry advisor for long.

The Gangs all here! I love when books in a series include previous characters and this book does that in spades! This is a wonderful book. I highly recommend the entire series.

Narration is way better in this book than in the first...i guess since there is no American accent in this book.

The end is a bit peculiar. While it is good...i felt like we were owed more. It was joyful, ominous, and unfinished all at the same time. I almost wonder if we may see a new book in the series later on.

Twice Claire has used an ancient stone circle to travel back to the 18th century. The first time she found love with a Scottish warrior but had to return to the 1940s to save their unborn child. The second time, 20 years later, she reunited with her lost love but had to leave behind the daughter that he would never see. Now Brianna, from her 1960s vantage point, has found a disturbing obituary and will risk everything in an attempt to change history.

It's strange to say but as I began drums of autumn I realized that I was missing one of the main characters that was always in the background. The setting of Scotland and France and all the foreign places I as an American love to hear about. But of course as soon as the story began to unfold, I realized that this early America (while I could visualize the landscapes a little more easily) was still a place that was exotic and unknown to me.

Gabaldon knows how to have you laughing one second and rip your heart from your chest in the next.

If you've had trouble liking Lord John Grey in the previous books you may find that you finally like him in this book.

Brianna and Roger have begun to be an integral part of the story and while I originally thought I would dislike this.....oh it is a wonderful thing now.

It's just wonderful. It has everything the other books have...the things that keep you glued to the story and tile things that make you laugh out loud, cry out loud, curse Diana Gabaldon and praise her.

It's not like you won't listen to this book. You have to. And if you consider listening or not listening based off of reviews when you are this far in the series....you probably aren't as invested in the series as the rest of us and need to move on!

I'm no prude....but I do like some sort of halfway plausible story to go with a lot of intense sex scenes. Well written sex scenes was all this story had going for it. Unbelievable story...like way off....and I hated the main male character. I wasn't a big fan of the narrator, but I can't say it was narration that ruined it. Too far fetched. I love Maya Banks' Highland Romance books, but this particular erotica wasn't for me.
