One more piece to the puzzle of the Vampire for Hire series by J.R.Rain--can't stop wanting more.
The “Indexing” by Seanan McGuire is truly an innovative story. A must read-to clear your pallet of the “same-o, same-o” books on the shelf. Refreshing and defining new tale that must be told. Great Job! I recommend it highly.
I am an Ann Rice fan and missed her writings for a while, but no more--SHE’s BACK. Her new series the Wolf Gift Chronicles is just great. The warmth of her characterization makes you feel you know these people, in both their human and wolf forms. The descriptive series make you want to go walk around and enjoy the place described. The Christmas festival that I read about was amazing-if only I could have gone myself--but I did and enjoyed every minute.
I am awaiting book 3. Thank you Ann Rice for writing again.
I have read all of Lynsay Sands Argeneau Vampire series--it has become a welcomed friend. This book will not disappoint, still fun, one of those books you have to read. Marguerite Argeneau is up to her matchmaking tricks and this one has attempted murder and lots of new family. Always a fun read that will leave you with a smile and awaiting the next story.
I normally don’t read science Fiction but took a chance on this one---I couldn’t put it down. It had a way of drawing you back. Well written and preformed. Most importantly the thoughts behind it were different--somewhat predictable but it didn’t hurt the story. A good read.
I bought this book in hopes of an interesting PI paranormal novel. I’m sorry to say I found this novel juvenile and boring.
The topic of this story is intriguing and frightening. Robert Langdon again takes us on an adventurous tour of Florence, then on Venice, to end up in Turkey. That in it self was great but the subject of over population and the catch-22 that takes you through the twists and turns to find the end is uncontrollable.
Never a moment of dullness, I applaud you Dan Brown on another great story. Now I hope the Dan Brown tours will expand to Italy.
I have read all of Jeaniene Frost's books and loved the journey. The Prince Novel side books are fun from beginning to end. "Twice Tempted" is a must read. Vald and Leila are a couple with problems. Leila, a human that has gained unique powers after being hit with lightning finds she can strike out with electricity from her right arm, and is able to gain knowledge about those she touches. Of course this makes it hard to live as a normal human without frying someone with a friendly hug. Now her new bow is a very old vampire, Vlad. When they hook up her life becomes a roller coster of adventures. These two don't seem to think it is possible to live with each other to find they can't live without each other. Love blossoms amongst mayhem. And yet you will be laughing throughout the whole story with the humor of Jeaniene Frost. The narration by Tavia Gibert was done beautifully. All I need to know is when is the next book coming out?
This is a very short novel written in first person. It is excellently written and performed. No one will be sorry for hearing this YA based tale. I felt the feeling or ideas presented with ease and was intrigued to the last word. A must read and a story you will not forget.
I was impressed with the story and the readers talent. Worth the purchase and it would make a nice gift.
K.A. thank you. This collection of short stories was great. I really don't like most short stories collection. This was different. I felt so connected to each story and each had worth to the main series the Otherworld. I see your name and buy the book knowing it will not disappoint.
