Jessi St. James has got to get a life. Too many hours studying ancient artifacts has given the hardworking archaeology student a bad case of sex on the brain. So she figures she must be dreaming when she spies a gorgeous half-naked man staring out at her from inside the glass of an ancient mirror. But when a split-second decision saves her from a terrifying attempt on her life, Jessi suddenly finds herself confronting six-and-a-half feet of smoldering, insatiable alpha male.

I am a reader and a Librarian--Personally I find all of Karen Marie Monings books an escape that I look forward to reading. I fly through each book only wishing it wouldn't end. Her books have a balance of plot, character development, adventure, action, and sex to keep you interested and wanting more. Excellent!

Ms. J. R. Ward, I read all your series, But the Black Dagger Brotherhood is my favorite.

Asail is the main focus character in this book. It is good to see him back after he's been out on a medical leave, you might say. The Brotherhood has a new foe to fight--one they are trying to explain--never dealt with before now. There is romance, battles, and so much going on from start to finish you will not want to put "The Thief" down. Enjoy--I Did (reading it a second time now)

    BTW---GRANDMA's ARE GREAT!

Jim Frangione is excellent as always--applause to you.

The McCready Family Funeral Home and Bait Shop has crickets running rampant in the store and hot sauce in the Snack Shack's ketchup bottles. But as the county coroner, Frankie has enough on her plate without worrying about the increasingly mean pranks being played at her family's business. And the arrival of Sheriff Eric Linden, both devastatingly attractive and painfully taciturn, is enough to push her over the edge.

Anything Molly Harper writes, I will read.

Love this series set in the deep south--so deep you can hear it. South means close ties that back each other up--and that's what's happening. I was all happy with the listen--going great--I understand the temper--and it was done. I know it is a short one but don't make us wait ---there are plans in place to fix things going wrong. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Amanda Ronconi and Molly Harper are the perfect fit--excellent as always.

So there I was, on a stage with two other men, being asked ridiculous questions by a woman I couldn't see, but whose voice made my pants tighten - and not around my ankles. Before I knew what was happening, I'd signed up for six weeks in paradise, isolated on an island for 42 days with a complete stranger. And when I finally laid eyes on the sexy brunette who belonged to that voice, a part of me thought this wouldn't be so bad.

This is my first experience with a story written by Lexie Richmond, C.A. Sorensen.

I have given up on Romance novels--they are just so predictable. But this is more of a life happenstance. It is a funny, believable story of Brae and Jude being pushed together and seeing where life takes them.

A very enjoyable book--love the anger and humor evolve.

How can you fight this? Magic is a trickie deal and Lily needs to be ready. Is Sailor going to be by her side or will he distract her or maybe?????? We need a handfasting too!

I am happy with this series--It just gets better with each book. The Characters are well developed and situation is a comedy/drama/ mystery. Hard to pull off and you have done it.

I have only one complaint. That is I want more of the series on Audible. Bobbli Holmes has 18 books out in this series, (as of this year), and we only have 7 on Audible. We want them all.

Bobbi Holmes--thank you for the great Read/Listen.

I have been a fan of Lynsay Sands for years. The development of he Argeneau story has been one of the winning series since "A Quick Bite", Book 1, published in 2005. It was a new twist in the vampire genre that grew with time. Thank you Ms Lynsay Sands for sharing your Paranormal world with us.

I love the Argeneau family story, it's fight for good and growth over the years. But this last book has not been one of my favorites. It was extremely simple, predictable, and not up to the series standards. I am disappointed and sorry to say this.

Charlotte North did a good job with the narration, I feel the story itself is what brought the whole process down.

    Story

High Voltage is well written, BUT the first half is bit long winded.
Amanda Leigh Cobb and Jim Frangione do and excellent narration.

Dani O'Malley is the main character. It shows what she faces as she is left alone to manage without her accumulated family. This is the part that gets to be a bit redundant. I was so happy when some of the old characters started to show up.

New foe will be found--and the Fae have changed, are altered, and those left behind are finding that the new conflict is heading to another war. Old protective runes used to protect the abbey and humans and locations, from the Fae are no longer of use. Ryodan returns to be at her side. With him, her sword of light, and the Dani determination they move straight away into danger. But this time she has a couple of strange personal changes that make her a bit of an unknown, as how this will all turn out you must read the story.

I must say it is my least favorite of the Fever series to date. But the first part is why (being it's dragged out). By the end of the story, it does have it's place in the series.

    Burn Bright, Book # 5--
------shows the interplay with Charles and Anna (2 characters I love), and how they interact with the pack as a pack and it's individual members. From the start of this book the events pull you into the adventure. New puzzle pieces (information) accumulate to add to the A&O series. There are existing characters you get to know better, and new characters that you are dramatically introduced to. The story's information also leads to a unexpected foe that wants to attack the pack, which will lead to serious investigations to identify. The game is afoot and the pack is on alert!

    5/5--Well written ----well narrated---as always.

A MUST READ FOR THIS SERIES
