Homicide detective Bryan Clauser is losing his mind. How else to explain the dreams he keeps having - dreams that mirror, with impossible accuracy, the gruesome serial murders taking place all over San Francisco? How else to explain the feelings these dreams provoke in him - not disgust, not horror, but excitement? As Bryan and his longtime partner, Lawrence 'Pookie' Chang, investigate the murders, they learn that things are even stranger than they at first seem.

What would have made Nocturnal: A Novel better?

Characters were not relatable and I found I didn’t really care what happened to any of them.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Neverwhere

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Thought about not finishing it. Then I did and found I didn't really miss anything. Again. This book just wasn't my speed. I couldn't relate to the characters and the story didn't keep my attention.

In this thrilling conclusion to the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy, Karou is still not ready to forgive Akiva for killing the only family she's ever known. When a brutal angel army trespasses into the human world, Karou and Akiva must ally their enemy armies against the threat--and against larger dangers that loom on the horizon. They begin to hope that it might forge a way forward for their people. And, perhaps, for themselves--maybe even toward love.

Don't miss The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, soon to be a major motion picture, in theaters August 2013. Danger intensifies for the Shadowhunters as the New York Times best-selling Infernal Devices trilogy comes to a close. If the only way to save the world was to destroy what you loved most, would you do it? The clock is ticking. Everyone must choose. Passion. Power. Secrets. Enchantment. Danger closes in around the Shadowhunters in the final installment of the best-selling Infernal Devices trilogy.

What made the experience of listening to The Clockwork Princess the most enjoyable?

Loved the story and the narration was spot on. Author does a great job of fretting the reader to care about all of the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

Great characters and conclusion to a wonderful trilogy.

What about Daniel Sharman’s performance did you like?

Excellent! Would listen to him again in a heart beat.
