"Absolutely Fantastic"
What a great book! If you are a dog person, you need this book. Its heart warming, funny, sad, joyous & oh-so clever. I'm 29 and thoroughly enjoyed it, but it would also be a great audio book for the kids to listen to. It will make you look at your dogs in a whole new way, and wonder "what really goes on inside those furry heads of theirs?”
"Action packed, edge of your seat "page-turner""
I finished this book (over 10 hours long) in one day; you will too if you are a fan of the modern espionage or action genre. The book is well-written and well-researched. The characters, setting and pace are perfectly balanced. More so, the action sequences are fast-paced and believable. Mark Greaney has a new fan in me. I haven't found an author I like this much since I discovered Vince Flynn's books. I'll be downloading Mr. Greaney's new book "On Target" the first day it is available.
"Great Story, Narrator RUINS it"
This is a great story. Its Dexter, what else can you say? I love the show and now I love the books. However, about halfway in, you start to pickup on the narrator swallowing what has got to be mouthfulls of saliva. It becomes more and more frequent to the point of distraction. I heard about this and thought it wouldn't bother me, but its so off-putting that each time I hear it, I feel sick to my stomach. Do yourself a favor and read the book instead of listening to it.
