'We are the last defence.I've seen him on the news. Followed the stories about what happened to John Smith. To the world he's a mystery, but to me ... he's one of us. Nine of us came here, but sometimes I wonder if time has changed us, if we all still believe in our mission. There are six of us left. We're hiding, blending in, avoiding contact with one another, but our Legacies are developing and soon we'll be ready to fight'....

Would you recommend The Power of Six to your friends? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book to younger readers who had seen or read the first book,

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Some of the voices didn't match the characters as i had imagined them

Do you think The Power of Six needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Definitely need to read the following books as i was left up in the air regarding the outcome of all the characters.

    Any additional comments?

One of the few books in which i had a growing dislike for the main character (John Smith aka No.4 ) I found his constant whining and selfishness increasingly irritating.

Once presided over by a flamboyant Hollywood mogul during the Roaring ’20s, the magnificent West Coast property known as Roseland is now home to a reclusive billionaire financier and his faithful servants. And, for the moment, it’s also a port in the storm for Odd Thomas and his traveling companion, the inscrutably charming Annamaria. In the wake of Odd’s most recent clash with lethal adversaries, the opulent manor’s comforts should be welcome. But there’s far more to Roseland than meets even the extraordinary eye of Odd, who soon suspects it may be more hell than haven.

One of the most enjoyable books i have listened to. David Aaron Baker does a wonderful job with the characters voices and i was totally absorbed in this from beginning to end. Previously i have read all the other books in this series and if anything this was my favorite so far. I can't wait for the next installment in Odd Thomas's life.i don't often write reviews but i felt this book was worthy. Highly recommend this to anyone of all ages.
