    Mackenzie Allen Philips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later in the midst of his Great Sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare.

    From beginning to end this one was a fantastic story! It is interesting, moving, intriguing and thought provoking. And certainly story which is quite relevant for today’s times, especially if you have kids. I found it a fantastic read which drew me closer to God while it touched my heart and made me think. It will give you strong reassurances about God's love for you, how He relates to us His children, who the Holy Spirit is, why Jesus had to die for you and ultimately what God's purpose for you is. It is a fast paced, entertaining read that will be totally worth your time. I absolutely loved it and will listen to it again again!
