In The Grass Is Always Greener over the Septic Tank, Bombeck rides the train to the suburbs. In lands like the Suburbian Gems subdivision, settlers from the city brave endless cul-de-sacs and overly helpful insurance salesmen. Picture windows bring new meaning to the term "neighborly". A poorly timed trip to the restroom results in a promotion to Girl Scout Cookie Captain.

The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University's Walking One-Night Stand. Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid.

Would you try another book from Jamie McGuire and/or Emma Galvin?

    Don't think so

Would you ever listen to anything by Jamie McGuire again?

    No

Would you listen to another book narrated by Emma Galvin?

    No

Do you think Beautiful Disaster needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

    It does

    Any additional comments?

This book is like high school kids make ups and break ups... And it doesn't help that the narrator sounds like she's 12 years old. She should do kids books.
