Centuries ago, Sebastian Wroth was turned into a vampire - a nightmare in his mind - against his will. Burdened with hatred and alone for ages, he sees little reason to live - until an exquisite, fey creature comes to kill him, inadvertently saving him instead. When Kaderin the Cold Hearted lost her two beloved sisters to a vampire attack long ago, a benevolent force deadened her sorrow - accidentally extinguishing all of her emotions. Yet whenever she encounters Sebastian, her feelings emerge multiplied.

I read and listen to all kinds of books but Kresley Cole and Robert Petkoff make a winning team. This was a joy to listen to it was action packed, funny, well written as well as well read. The mood of the series is wonderfully captured in this audio version. The characters, setting and the ambiance are world class. I recommend any and everthing by this author. It is a very good romance and a great story.

Another shockingly suspenseful installment in #1 New York Times best-selling author Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. Burned picks up right where the surprising conclusion of Iced left off, and will feature beloved characters Mac and Dani O'Malley as they embark on another high-octane adventure in the Fever world.

The fantasy world of a post fae apocalyptic dublin is very complicated, dark and unrelentingly hard. This is not a stand alone novel. The book was well crafted and new character developments abound. The book answers a few questions and finally things are looking up for a one or two characters. My biggest criticism is that the book brings things to a climax and there is virtually no denouement. I enjoyed the book especially Ms. Lane's spying but, it was a LONG time coming and the length too SHORT for the wait. Also it would be nice if there was more progress overall. Give loyal fans a gift to tie things up like a novella or two. If it takes another two plus years to get the next book out mayhap I might just be forgettin' about it all. Phil Gigante's voice is sublime for this series Natalie Ross is perfect. I liked the book but it did NOT meet my expectations! Trilogy smilogy I am sick of not getting the whole story. The trend does not amuse.

This book took the plot of "gay man turning straight man gay" and turned it on its ear. The two protags are vividly drawn and lovable. A character driven story that was believable and just refreshing. Worth a credit yes. The narrator made this book. What a bloody great talent and I loved his character voices. I want him on my GPS. I would not mute him or ignore his directions.

This book read like a grooming manual for pedophiles and their subsequent tawdry affairs. The taboo subject matter beautiful priest (yeah right) the virgin whore (really) left me flat. I think there is a thin line between perversion and erotica.

As a boy, Thronos, prince of Skye Hall, loved Lanthe, a mischievous Sorceri girl who made him question everything about his Vrekener clan. But when the two got caught in the middle of their families’ war, tragedy struck, leaving Thronos and Lanthe bitter enemies. Though centuries have passed, nothing can cool his seething need for the beautiful enchantress who scarred his body - and left an even deeper impression on his soul.

The plot. pacing, Nucking Futz Nix, humor and and chemistry, What more could you ask for.? Another winner from Kresley Cole. Any fan of the IAD series will not be disappointed. My only gripe is the use of the word little. I ate this book up like one who was starved so I need give it a second listen but this book shone for me. Love Kresley Cole. She stays true to the series and still keeps us guessing. Dark Skye introduces new dimensions and a few new characters and is fantastic.

Roxie’s on the run from a bad boyfriend who will not catch the hint that it is o-v-e-r. She’s in no mood for love at first sight, but when her eyes fall on Hank, it’s trouble from the get-go. Roxie tries to hold Hank at arm's length but Hank wants to be a closer (as in, a lot closer). Roxie’s trouble catches up with her and Hank wants to help but Roxie knows in her heart that she’s no good for a white-hat guy. The problem is no one agrees with her, especially her crazy hippie best friend Annette or her parents; the even crazier small-Indiana-town Herb and Trish.

This was a very funny book in parts. The narration was adequate but not as rich as the writing demanded. Having a snarky comment read in a monotone just did not cut it for me. I liked the humor but the ex boyfriend was a yawn and eluded capture for way too long. The author describes this group of super handsome guys who are all in phenomenal shape and brilliant. The baddest of the bad or best of the best and they fail to find one lowlife idiot. Drove me nuts. Writing descriptions of characters portraying them as the best at their job and then not being able to do it rankles me and I find it happens way too often. Worth a try but probably not be getting anymore. I think a different narrator would've changed the tone for me and made it rise a star.

The night after the fourth of July, Layton Carlson, Jr., of Red Wing, Minnesota, finally got lucky. And unlucky.

He’d picked the perfect spot to lose his virginity to his girlfriend, an abandoned farmyard in the middle of cornfields: nice, private, and quiet. The only problem was...something smelled bad - like, really bad. He mentioned it to a county deputy he knew, and when the cop took a look, he found a body stuffed down a cistern. And then another, and another. By the time Lucas Davenport was called in, the police were up to 15 bodies and counting.

I have listened to or read all of John Sanford's books. I listened to this book and was irked by the lack of progress in the case. It is well written and the narrator is wonderful. Just not my favorite. Has flashes of the greatness that is John Sanford. I found myself thinking that the villain was not smarter than all of the BCA so why did it take so long to catch him. Then there is the moment when you say I totally saw that coming and it led to me being disappointed. Overall worth it because who doesn't love Letty, Lucas, Weather and f##ing Flowers.

I am so squee happy that I found this book. It is one of my favorites by the grand dame Georgetter Heyer. Hello lock meet key. That is the fit of this narrator to this story. I highly recommend you buy this wonderful book. I read it and loved it and had the abridged version and sighed because I wanted the full "fotherby". Now I have it. Great story, great narration, great characters what more do you need? ( I know Arabella then I will probably embarrass myself.) Love this book. Thank you to the publisher Naxos books the updated version of this classic it was a long time coming. If the world has multiple versions of Pride and Prejudice then it is high time for Heyer.

Kresley Cole really hits her stride when she writes the two stories about the Woede. Robert Petkoff is genius with the British and Australian accents. He narrated Josh Bazell's book and you cannot imagine the range until you hear the difference. This story has such great chemistry between the two protagonists. It just makes me want more. Even though I own the books in print I had to get the audio and wow I cannot believe the price. Amazes me that books I hate cost twice as much. Well done whoever decides this.

Faith is strong, proud, and fearless, and Gray – well, he’s just downright sexy. It is the southern setting or the characters or the plot or all of the above but I listen to this book whenever I want to relax. It is one of my favorites. Some parts are a bit earthy but I think it adds to the flavor. The characters are so complex and sympathetic. It is like Sandra Brown's Envy or Ain't She Sweet by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. A good mix of pleasure and pain. I read all kinds of books but this book hits me where I live.
