"Hollywood Glamor Nora-style"
This is the third (or I guess the second if you go by birth order) O'Hurley triplet's story. It's been a couple of months since I listened, but what I remember primarily is that the hero smokes at the gym. While lifting weights. Which was pretty awesome. The suspense plot, of a stalker terrorizing Chantel on the set of her new movie, was pretty good for such a short book, and I enjoyed the Hollywood setting. Overall an entertaining read.
"Dated but Enjoyable"
I read the O'Hurleys out of order, and read this one (the second) first. It's kind of hilarious to read about Reed, a record company executive, being really powerful but the romance itself holds up fine. Maddy's career as a Broadway star is entertaining and I liked them together. Marie Caliendo's narration was spot on. A short, but sweet little audio romance.
"Classic Nora"
I find these old Nora Roberts releases to be quite charming. Though the smoking throws me off a bit. This first installment in the O'Hurley quartet is very good. I loved the instant chemistry between Abby and Dylan, and the way the boys welcome Dylan into their little family is great.
"My First Louise Penny but It Won't be My Last"
I'd been hearing about Louise Penny's Gamache series for a while, so I finally took the plunge with listening to the first one as an audiobook. I really loved Ralph Cosham's narration. So much so that I don't think I can read the print books now without hearing his voice. The mystery itself was very good. I will happily revisit Three Pines again every chance I get.
"Wonderful Old School Linda Howard"
Only drawback to Ericksen was that I kept expecting her to talk about Eve or Rourke.
Not sure why I'd missed this Howard book before, but I'm glad I got around to it. I thought the romance was smoking hot and though the mystery was a little predictable it was creepy enough to keep me guessing.
"Enjoyable Suspense with Romance"
This was my first in the JD Robb "In Death" series and I quite enjoyed it. The mystery was compelling and the relationship between the oft praised Eve and Rourke did not disappoint. I'm looking forward to more in the series.
