This is my all time favorite book. I have read and re-read this book. It's like an old friend so I was hesitant to get an Audible copy. However, Robert Whitfield's narration of this book is stunning. His characterizations are superb. This is a wonderful listen. It brings the book to life in a new way for me.
Anne Rice is talent personified. The command she displays in her work is unsurpassed. The visuals she portrays in her stories are so well written that the reader is transported to a new and fantastic world. I am always wary of a great book in an audible form. The narration can enhance the story or destroy it. F. Murray Abrahm delivers a fantasic performance that honors Rice's brilliance and brings this amazing book to life.
I am always a little leary about great books in a Audible form. The narration can enhance or ruin a great story. Brown's book is BRILLIANT and Poe's narration compliments that brilliance wonderfully.
This is a fantasic book. I love it. The narration on it, however, is horrific. The only thing that saves this audiobook from being too bad to listen to is the story. Meyer is brilliant. Kadushin has the emotional range of a scone. This needs to be re-recorded by someone with an older voice with more range to reflect Bella's soul.
