Well, better and better. I was not ... for one moment bored. Nope! This publication of Grafton's series had me reaching back into the prior books that I had missed. The written synopsis of the book is well written as well.
If you like Ms Grafton, and Judy Kaye as the reader, then sit back and be prepared for a one of a kind story. Perhaps, some of my enjoyment came because it has been two or so years since I listened to one of her books. Regardless the reason, I have read nothing else for the last 2 months then Sue Grafton. The plot on this book is nice and tight, the characters believable, the story line consistent; one can even taste the meatloaf! Yeah, have to read it to get that sentence.
Just wondering what Ms Grafton will do when she reaches the END of the alphabet? Quit? Surely not! You can't let a character like this die off!! OR ride into the sunset!
As to TV series, I was imagining Kyra Sedgwick could try her hand as Kinsey; a good turn-around for her from The Closer. Henry? Well, some good looking 80-something other. Plus. Rosa? Plenty of people for her.
Just read the book, and enjoy like I did. Hey, I even read this while illustrating!
