In 1968, after the first zombie outbreak, Wanda Mayhall and her three young daughters discover the body of a teenage mother during a snowstorm. Wrapped in the woman's arms is a baby - stone-cold, not breathing, and without a pulse. But then his eyes open and look up at Wanda, and he begins to move. The family hides the child - whom they name Stony - rather than turn him over to authorities who would destroy him. Against all scientific reason, the undead boy begins to grow....

This was my first audiobook and I just LOVED it! It was a completely different take on the genre that was very enjoyable. Stony is a wonderful character with great story. The narration was spot on. Very glad that I chose this as my first listen.

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Kelly says: "I Owe Stephen King An Apology"
    "King is still the greatest!"

Very engaging story with an equal mix of history and fantasy. Stephen King is my favorite author and this book did not disappoint. Craig Wasson did a wonderful job of narration. I definitely receommend this title.
