No heavy reading (listening) here. A simple story that made me want to learn how to knit.
I loved the book even if it didn't have a plot. The characters were brought to life by the narrator who seems able to do so many accents. I couldn't tell until the credits which one was his true accent.
This book was not the best of the series. Many improbabilities such as she is on trial for a killing but her sister is on vacation instead of by her side???? Did not like the woman reading the story. Her voice sounded like a well to do person not a cop.
Depressing, depressing and depressing. No plot.
This was not Dean Koontz's best work. While the suspense was there the climax was not exciting as his usual stuff. Hated the ending it was unbelievable.
I liked this story there was a good twist in the middle.
If you like the tv show "Heroes" you'll like this story. The author creates suspense by having an autistic young man control the groups fate at times.
This is an odd little story about a seemingly normal family that is really anything but normal. Not a tear jerker but certainly not uplifting.
Finally the old Stephen King is back. This is a great story I couldn't stop listening to it. From the current references it sounds like it was written last week. The reader however, was just okay. I think it was the editing, sometimes a word or phrase was edited in that was obviously not Campbell.
