Authors take to long to get to the point. They spend to much time showing how evil the evil is, and how bad things are for the humans. This book took too much time to get to the real storyline which is really good.
The Overall story line is great. There is a good plot, lots of twists and turns but sometimes a little predictable.
If you can overlook the insane amount of profanity and crassness in the book, and don't mind characters that speak like college professors, but are orphans without education, then you might enjoy this book. Apparently many people do. I didn't enjoy it at all and couldn't even bring myself to finish the book. The story wasn't that compelling and left me time and again feeling that the people are incongruous with their situation. Yes, I can believe that a small child can be highly intelligent and very clever, and by some stretch of the imagination I might be able to concede that a person leading the thieves guild could appear highly educated, but not everyone! Sometimes I felt that the author simply likes to hear himself speak (or write) in this case. He wants to show how intelligent he is by his use of words rather than writing a compelling story.
Yes, I will probably listen to the book twice a year, until I feel that I have my finances under control. In the month since I have listened to this book, I have been able to form a budget, save $1000 in my emergency fund, and starting paying off my debts. I plan on having all my debts except my house to be paid off with in 16 months.
It is broken down into steps that are easy to understand and help to motivate you to build wealth.
Great speaker with good sense of humor, but treats the topic with the sincerity it deserves.
no, this book was meant to be digested in parts. I listened to it strait through but now I am going back through and applying the steps to myself.
If you listen to this book, and apply the principals taught it will change your life.
