"Even better than the first"
When a new book in a series comes out I like to quickly listen to last book to fill in any gaps in my memory. I'd listen again since I'm beginning to really bond with the characters now.
Probably a cross between Thea Harrison's series and JR Ward's brotherhood. There's magic and shapeshifting alongside a tight group of males fighting evil.
Forge, the lonely and misunderstood dragon of the book. Mac is a close second, his character is a hoot ( can't wait for his turn ;)
When Forge was finally recognized as a good male.
This isn't a deep read, but when I listened to this book at work it kept a good deal of boredom at bay.
"What a nice guy...oh, he's a vampire too?"
Nice twist, thanks!
Temple, for being so kind...for a bloodsucker.
Mulina, Temple's companion.
The moment Temple realized it's okay to be happy - it was well written.
A very easy and enjoyable read. I will read the others.
"Smart, funny and engaging"
I've read a lot of paranormal crap. Some books are just copycats of other successful storylines. This series is completely unique and well thought out. I had to often stop myself from listening for fear of listening to the whole thing too fast.
Again, this one stands out on it's own. The humour and tension are well timed. The characters are people I'd like to meet. I'm a fan of JR Ward's work, so anyone into her will be happy with this.
Anything with Seth in it. I'm totally into that guy.
I'm a graphic designer so I could make the movie poster instead. I'd leave the words to someone else.
I have put in my calendar when the next one comes out. Thats the sign of a good series I say.
