Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. The series itself is incredibly well written, and Marsters does an amazing job of bringing Dresden to life.

What does James Marsters bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He really gets the 'hard boiled' aspect of the story telling. Through his performance, he really convinces you that you are listening to a detective recounting his life.

    Any additional comments?

The team up of Butcher and Marsters is not to be missed.

This is the way the world ends: with a nanosecond of computer error in a Defense Department laboratory and a million casual contacts that form the links in a chain letter of death. And here is the bleak new world of the day after: a world stripped of its institutions and emptied of 99 percent of its people. A world in which a handful of panicky survivors choose sides - or are chosen.
