All parents hope their child will be self-reliant, optimistic, and well mannered, but this has become particularly challenging in our current culture. Clinical psychologist and Jewish educator Wendy Mogel distills the ancient teachings of the Torah, the Talmud, important Jewish thinkers, and contemporary psychological insights into nine blessings that address key parenting issues.

"Great book, needs a more knowledgeable narrator"
    Overall

As a parenting expert, I Read Every Baby Book, I found this to be a great parenting book and I enjoyed it, but the narrator frequently mispronounced the Hebrew, Jewish words. I found this to be very distracting and somewhat disrespectful.

This is a great story and has excellent narration. The story is lovely and there is history to be learned as well.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

    "The best"
    Overall

This is the best audio book I have ever listened to. The cast was fabulous. I only found one spot where I was distracted by an attempt at a change in voice. I highly recommend this book for both story line and narration.
