Sometimes there is very good reason to be afraid of the darkā€¦. Eleven-year-old Arlen lives with his parents on their small farmstead, half a day's ride from the isolated hamlet of Tibbet's Brook. As dusk falls upon Arlen's world, a strange mist rises from the ground; a mist that promises a violent death to any foolish enough to brave the coming darkness, for hungry corelings - demons that cannot be harmed by mortal weapons - materialize from the vapours to feed on the living.

Great narrator, who brought the story of the painted man to life. I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book one of the best I've listened to thus far

The Wheel of Time turns and ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the age that gave it birth returns again. For centuries, gleemen have told the tales of The Great Hunt of the Horn. So many tales about each of the Hunters, and so many Hunters to tell of. Now, the Horn itself is found: the Horn of Valere long thought only legend, the Horn which will raise the dead heroes of the ages.

Tony Deleeuw says: "Great Series, Great Readers"
    "Riveting"

I absolutely loved listening to this story. The narrators were extremely skilled in the way they were able to modify their voices to take on the different characters. The story seems to be gaining momento, however the wisdom still comes across as a whinning adolescent which is a contrast from the character she holds. Can't wait to listen to the next book in this saga
