Good narration, decent story. Some folks really rave about Morrell but I think he's just an average storyteller. I am, however, impressed with his knowledge of weapons and tactics. He does his homework. This audiobook has a lot of action scenes and the reader pulls them off well. Three stars. Beats FM radio anyday. :)

Sheesh. What's with all the rotten reviews? Sure the narration was, well, terrible. But that can be overlooked. With the Ipod or Iphone you can speed the audio up and horrible narration becomes bearable. Well, almost. (The narrator's interpretation of the wannabe rapper in the story would be irritating at any speed). Luckily, the strength of this story overcomes the bad narration. Great novel. Harlan Coben is back on his horse with this un. He's had his ups and downs with his stand-alone departures from the Bolitar series. Stephen King once said that a good story could be written on a grocery sack and it would still be a good story. I suppose you could apply that theory here. The terrible narration is like the grocery sack. A crude delivery device for a fantastic yarn. Enjoy!

This book is an eye opener. A down-to-earth look at how this economic disaster happened. I have listened to this book twice. Highly recommended. Well worth a download credit. It will change the way you think. Watch your favorite financial network for a week, then listen to this book. Then watch your favorite financial network again. You will see right through these talking heads and laugh at the obvious propaganda they are trying to shovel. It is very rare that I listen to any audiobook twice. There's so many things that have to be "right" about it. The content, the narrator, my interest level and attention span, etc. This audiobook fits that narrow window. A real eye opener!

Smashing! This is the very best of the Camel Club series. A non-stop thrill ride. I got the feeling that this is the last book in the series. If so, what a way to end the saga. These characters were great.

A fine audiobook. Glad I downloaded it. I suppose I should have started with the first book of the series but I didn't have too much trouble figuring out the characters. I'm interested in the rest of the series now. Fantastic narration by Grover Gardener. He really nailed it.

This turned out to be my least favorite of the Camel Club series. Don't get me wrong, it was okay but the two plot lines seemed sort of forced at the end. As if Baldacci felt like he'd painted himself into a corner and he needed to find a neat way out. Also, I didn't come away caring as much about the characters as I did in the previous two novels. It seemed like Baldacci phoned this one in. If there's another Camel Club novel up Baldacci's sleeve let's hope he gives it a better effort.

The narration was top notch. McClarty did a fantastic job with the voice inflections of the characters.

Overall I don't feel like I wasted my time listening to this novel but I do feel a little let down. Baldacci can do so much better.

Wow. That's the word that sums this audiobook up. Just wow. Fantastic narration. Why doesn't Grupper do more of these? Not just the narration however. This novel is Connelly's best since The Poet (which was previously his best). Absolutely recommended. I don't give five stars lightly. Mickey Haller is a flawed hero. What a wild ride. I didn't miss Harry Bosch for one single moment. In fact, this was a refreshing departure from the Bosch series.

As much as I like Harry Bosch, it's just uncanny how Connelly's sidetrips FROM the Bosch series end up being my very favorites. So far those departures include Blood Work, The Poet, and now this one. I haven't yet read the other departure from the Bosch series (Void Moon) but certainly plan on it.

Hopefully Connelly plans to return to this character. A case with Harry and Mickey crossing paths in the legal system seems to be the logical course of action.

Unlike other reviewers, I was pretty much neutral on the multiple narrators. It just didn't make any difference to me. I guess the story was simply good enough to quash any negative reactions to it. Historically I've not been a fan of the industry's stabs at multiple narration.

This novel was great. There's two distinct plot lines at work here. Fantastic pacing and plotting. I listened with rapt attention throughtout. The abrupt ending frustrated me at first but as I thought about it, there can only be one explanation. Baldacci's planning another novel in this series. There's just no other way to resolve the loose end. I'm certainly looking forward to it. I'd also like to see Hollywood pick this up. This series reads like it was intended for the silver screen.

This is Ann's best book yet. Highly recommended. Coulter once again uses the left's own words and deeds to illustrate their agenda. The narration is great. The reader handles Ann's sharp wit very well.

Tense. Suspenseful. Brick's narration takes this fine thriller to another level. Highly recommended. New characters pop up throughout the novel, keeping the reader guessing. Future fans will regard this novel as Hoag's "breakout" thriller. The one that put her on the hit parade.

Look for this one to go Hollywood.

Great audiobook. I broke from my usual mystery/suspense category to download this book and I'm super glad I did. This book gives insight into the way a criminal's mind works. Normal folks simply do not think this way. You will find yourself stunned at how you've NOT been paying attention to certain things. The chapter on embezzlement alone is worth the download credit. It will have you looking at your co-workers from a whole different angle.

Great narration. The writing was a little flaky and could have used the services of an editor but hey, the author was a crook not a novelist. Highly recommended download.
