Would you listen to Catching Fire again? Why?

I guess I would listen to it again, but it is unlikely I will. The story line became a bit too lengthy for me about three quarters of the way into the book.

What other book might you compare Catching Fire to and why?

    The first book.

Have you listened to any of Carolyn McCormick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Yes. Usually good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes.

Most people think success comes from good luck or enormous talent, but many successful people achieve their accomplishments in a simpler way: through self-discipline. Brian Tracy knows this firsthand. He didn’t graduate from high school, and after working for a few years as a laborer, he realized he had limited skills and a limited future. But through the power of self-discipline, he changed his life.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. It is clear in explaining what we already know, but don't want to admit.

What did you like best about this story?

Frank and to the point. No BS. You either do it or you don't, but don't kid yourself as to why things aren't going your way.

What does Brian Tracy bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Yes. It is easier listening to the reality than trying to read through it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    No

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The narration was good, but the story line was not. It was like reading an adult film with no real story line, other than a rich, masochist CEO with a power trip and a virgin innocent graduating college girl who fell in love with him.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    A business book.

Did Becca Battoe do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    Yes. Different entotations and emotions.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    No

What did you like best about Trump Never Give Up? What did you like least?

I liked that he spoke about how you can always recover from a devastating blow. He is a bit out of touch with the "masses" and he toots his own horn a great deal.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

It was good listening to it. A little less I did this, I did that and more recent events to go along with the current economy.

Was Trump Never Give Up worth the listening time?

    Yes
