Bryson Wilde, investigator for hire, lives in an edgy world where the dames are dangerous, cigarettes dangle from ruby-red lips and the nights are hotter than whiskey-soaked jazz. In R.J. Jagger's riveting noir thriller, The Scroll Lawyers, Wilde finds himself entangled with two attorneys, one a solo practitioner and one an associate at Denver's largest law firm, who are cast into the throes of a deadly thriller when a mysterious messenger delivers a package to their restaurant table.

If you could sum up The Scroll Lawyers in three words, what would they be?

    A Good Listen

    Any additional comments?

In the spirit of Phillip Marlow. I probably would not have listened this book if it were not on sale, but I am glad I did. Good plot line, enjoyable characters, a good listen.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

What made the experience of listening to Hounded the most enjoyable?

Luke Daniels reading and being able to pronounce the foreign languages...very cool

Who was your favorite character and why?

Of course it's Oberon, who doesn't want to be able to talk to their dog? I found myself talking to my own dog in the same voice Luke uses for Oberon...OK, I am a nerd.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I wanted the story to be longer, I am looking forward to this series going on for many years to come!

    Any additional comments?

I love it, when at the end of a book, I want to go out and wield magic or a sword or talk to my dog,. That is what this series does to me. I wonder if their is a Druid out there in need of an apprentice? Yeah, like I said, I am a nerd.
