Fascinating story about a little publicized aspect of WWII. This was my favorite audiobook of the year, and I listen to 2 or 3 a month!
This is a great book if you enjoy WWII history; however, the author is a horrible narrator.
This is a fascinating, well-read history book. It reminded me of Ken Burns style when he researched the Civil War. I appreciate that the author took a small enough slice of history that he was able to really develop the characters and their surroundings.
I have listened to over 40 audiobooks since becoming an audible.com listener, and this was my favorite. I can't believe the author is a 19 year old kid from Montana. I can't wait for "Eldest", the next installment.
