"Each book in the series gets better"
Falco, his wife and family are amazing. the characters have grown since the start and the development has been getting better. There is humor and brutality, but the mysteries, always keep me intrigued. I enjoy historical novels and this series very much.
"Book 3 in the Sandman series The best yet"
Each book in this series just got better and better. Always action packed and many twists and turns. Richard Kadrey knows how to spin a story and keep his reader entertained from the very start. MacLeod Andrews is the perfect narrator for this series. His voices and attitude were perfect. There were moments in this series that were really funny, if it weren't so brutal. This is a true trilogy If you like urban fantasy this is for you. True cutting edge. I hope Richard Kadrey will be writing more novels.
"Wonderful !"
I enjoy anything about Alexander, and especially excellent books. This one falls into that category. The narrator Charlton Griffin did and excellent job with the interpretation. I also suggest Alexander by Harold Lamb, it is also narrated by Charlton Griffin. If you are into historical fiction I would also recommend The Virtues of War by Steven Pressfield, narrated by John Lee. I have all three in my library and have listened to them more than once. You will not be wasting your points on any of these books. However this one is a MUST.
"Read Arrians version as well"
This is a wonderful interpretation of the story of Alexander the Great. It is a historical novel, and it does take license, on many things. However John Lee does a wonderful narration and if you are truly an "Alexander' enthusiast, this book, along with "Alexander the Great" by Arrian, and "Alexander" by Harold Lamb these two books are narrated by Charlton Griffin, who like John Lee is a wonderful narrator. Your points will not be wasted on any of these books I promise.
"Love this series"
Falco et al, have developed since the start of this series. Mystery and humor are always there. Even though different narrator Jamie Glover did a fine job. Falco his wife Helena and the rest of the crew have developed since start of series. Davis always keeps you guessing. Love this series.
"What a wonderful surprise"
I knew some of the authors, and was very happy with what they offered.I also got to know a few new ones. Karen Chance and Carrie Vaughn. You can't go wrong with this anthology. Sometime I laughed out loud.
"I'm a Simon R Green fan"
If you are too, you won't be disappointed, there is some dry humor, and some really nasty scary situations, that the ghost hunters endure. I'm enjoying this series (this is book 2) can't wait for the next installment. I think the narrator does a fine job with the voice inflections, so I find it easy to follow who's talking. If you are a SRG fan I thing it's well worth a listen.
"Don't know why I never read this before now."
First I have to say the narration by Ralph Cosham is just perfect. The interpretation and expressions in this story remind me a bit of "Animal Farm" but much more intense. I never would have thought I would be so moved by a so called "Young Persons Book". However being an adult I would imagine I see so much more, than a 12 or 13 year old would see. My feelings are that yes every day life is a struggle, regardless if you're a human being or a rabbit. Wonderful book beautifully read.
"series get better and better"
this is fifth book in series and I really loved it, Tavia Gilbert does a great job with the narration. I have to say each book gets better and better. Some authors really know how to develop a story. Jeniene Frost is one of them.
"Second in Mignight's Daughter series"
The first book was pretty good for an urban fantasy. I liked the narrator as well. I always listen to the free listen before I purchase a title, especially if I don't know the narrator. I enjoyed this book more than the first, possibly because I already had a background of some of the characters and this had more twists and turns in the story line. Like I've said not a Loral Hamilton, nor Kim Harrison, but something enjoyable and different none the less.
