This was quite an enjoyable listen. The performance was dramatic. Perfect combination of sound effects and sound tracks from the original series. The story was unique and enjoyable. I found it hard for me to put down.
This story does not stand on its own. With that said If you have not read Old Mans War, read it first. This adds on to the series and adds a great amount of depth to the series as John and Jane continue their life to where it will end.
This is for sure the first in a long journey. This is a fantastic introduction to a series that shows potential for a fantastic story line. The pace was perfect and easy for me to follow. The sci fi was explained and believable. A very nice listen.
Vampires are generally not my thing: but on the suggestion of a friend, I tried this book. The character development is a little tedious but needed. The narrator did a fantastic job creating the characters as themselves.
In the end, through all the weird twists and turns, an enjoyable listen.
I think there should be a caution to accompany this book: This book contains some erotic content
I have always enjoyed the Halo books.
This gave some background to the game and offered creativity as well as history as to where the HALO series got its roots.
While this is a series not related to Harry Potter, the history with in the story and the fantasy is fun and creative.
Mr Hodgman in coordination with his gust narrators brings his book to life in a way only he can. I found the book to be almost like 'The Daily Show" (if I can say that here) without the current events. THis is not a story, more of a giant opinion column with a comedy twist.
It made me laugh, it made me think and it broadened my perspective on some topics to bigger than what they were.
This is a definite listen.
The story was enjoyable. The depth the narrator brought to the book added to the over all enjoyment of the story.
Wil Wheaton brings a depth to this story I would not have thought. The reading he brought was fantastic.
The story was very well assembled and creative. Ready Player One brinbgs the reality of VR to book/story form. I strongly suggest this book for any gamer or sci-fi enthusiast.
the story was great. All the history that was brought forward was great for any Star Wars historian. The narrator on the other hand, in my opinion, lacked what it took to bring justice to the book.
