"A lesson to be learned...."
I actually read this one second, and the second book first. It really shows the downfalls of being a wifey and not a wife. I liked the way it links to second book and gives you both main characters side of the story being told. You must read both. Honey Jones narrates and I love her.
"Must read if you read Street Divas"
It was a good follow up to part one. It finishes where part one leaves you dangling in suspense. The only thing I didn't like was the switch in the narrator. They did present an entire cast of readers for this book, which made the characters a little easier to follow. Drama filled.
"Wow, these are some ruthless chicks!"
This story gives you a rough and raw tale of women who choose to get in the gang life and try to dominate as strongly as the men. It will make you smile, make you feel sad, and mad throughout this book. Very good story and narrated by my fave,Honey Jones. She really gets into the characters and really shows off with the character Mama Peaches.
"I was in for a surprise"
I had a hard time getting this book to play correctly. After several attempts from Audible, I was able to listen to it. When it first began , I was like this sounds corny already, but then I got hooked. It was one of those ghetto tales that has you waiting for the next scene. I immediately bought the second book.. I am now a big fan of the narrator Honey Jones.
"I loved the second part to this chilling story!"
It was an excellent follow up to the beginning of this tragic tale. Cary Hite really brings the characters to life, it's not often I find a male narrator who can carry both genders in a book. Excellent. Can't wait for the next one.
"This book Leaves you hanging on to your seat!"
I would definitely listen to it again, just to make sure I caught every part!
I love the romance between the main character and the way the narrator switched his dialect for each part. you almost forget it's one person.
No, but I would like too.
International love and death
This book made my days at work go by quickly, couldn't wait to start the next one.
