"Fantastic"
I have two friends who agree with me. If you enjoy DaVinci or Templar lore, this book is for you. Great story line and intriguing to the end. Lots of action and interesting premise for a story compared to other Templar stories. The reading and intonations of the narrator are excellent as are his other readings. You will not be disappointed!
"fun yet somewhat predictible"
The Judas Strain is very similar to the author's other books. If you enjoy his work, you will enjoy this book. The trick is to never think too much about the action or plot line, but just enjoy drama and clues. I enjoyed listening to this book and how the plot was moved forward. The author has three different plot lines going on at once so you are always moving from story to story. In the end, the story is fun and entertaining, even if the plot line is somewhat far fetched...but that is the whole point to all the "save the world" books! Just enjoy it.
"Outstanding"
This is one of the best biographies I have ever listened to! This man is without a doubt one of the most amazing American hero's of the Civil War and yet probably few are familar with him and all the battles he participated in while suffering a number of injuries. This book makes you feel like you have met and spent time with Joshua Chamberlain. I only wish I had learned of this man sooner when I lived in New England and could have visited his home in Maine. You will enjoy this book.
"Great history"
This is another great listen for anyone interested in presidental history. Each review is not too long but you feel you still get a great deal of history about each man.
"Amazing person"
This was an excellent book detailing the life of General Grant and the less successful President Grant. As a general, we was uniquely qualified to lead an army at that time in history. The author does an excellent job helping you to understand who Grant was and how he thought. While his presidency was less than stellar, he still had some successes and had a great challenge in trying to reconcile the country. This book is well worth the time.
"Excellent Lincoln continuation narrative"
If you enjoyed Team of Rivals, you will greatly enjoy this book since it is a natural follower to continue after Lincoln is killed, to see how and why Booth did what he did and how his conspiritors tried to help him. I also enjoyed the Q/A session at the end with the author. This book was well done and well read. You feel as if you are on the run with Booth and one is amazed how many times he managed to slip by the authorities. You will enjoy this book!
"Well written"
This was an excellent review of the history of ole Abe's administration. The writing was clear and interesting. I learned more about Abraham Lincoln in this book in a few hours than an entire lifetime! He was a facinating man who seems to be truly one of the great presidents that wished the best for the country and could put aside his political differences to do what was best for the nation. Lincoln was definately a great man, no just for what he did but how he treated anyone he came in contact with. One of the best historical books I have listened to so far.
"Facinating"
This book truly lives up to its stated goal to explain what this famous equation means. The author explains each aspect in an easily understood manner and I enjoyed the illustrations and scientific history behind what led to these great discoveries. If you enjoy science but do not want to be overwhelmed, this is a great read!
"horrible"
I am sure the poetry is fine, but this did not translate well into electronic form. The quality is poor and the readings are not that entertaining or engaging. One of the few electronic books I gave up on.
"The reviews were right!"
I was hesitant to read this book based on the concept. However, after reading the reviews, I took the chance and I am glad I did! This was an excellent book and was well read by an excellent reader who brought the characters alive. My only criticism would be the idea of an African-American laywer being the main character in a position of power in a Russian society as strange. However, this did fit the final prophetic meanings. Very entertaining and Steve Berry fans will not be disappointed.
