Loved it, Loved it, Loved it. This story took me in and kept me wanting more. Another enjoyable audible in the series which brings some other immortal characters to the Love at Stake series. I laughed alot too, and it's always fun when characters from the other series are involved, it's like a mini series.

Commanded into marriage by the king, Myles Campbell is no more willing than his reluctant bride. Still, she is a rare beauty, passionate enough to warm even the coldest marriage bed.

Liked the idea of the storyline if written with more depth, not angry & suspect attitude from main male character, got a bit over the top at times, it's like yep got his issue's let's get on with story. More research necessary on the time period, some aspects in story were not of the time period, being correct in time period does add depth to the overall story, your there in it, so you wish to experience it correctly. Overall, ok, liked some aspects of story but wouldn't re-listen to it.

Loved this book. It kept me interested the whole way through. The narration was fantastic. I just really enjoyed the story in this book and the characters. I have actually re-listened to it. I also enjoy that other characters from this series, (valkery) are brought into it, i especially liked getting another side to nix the all seeing valkery. Overall, if you enjoy this series you will really enjoy lothaire. Only disapointment, no other books after this one YET>

This is the first in the series and i really enjoyed it. The narration is great and the characters wonderful. I read the second, then the third, however the third book is not available in audible format yet. Enjoy following this series, it's light, moving and i enjoy the history aspect of these stories. That alone intrigues me, how it was back then, very different!!

Escaping a horrible marriage, Carolyn Connor has no desire to think about men - a vow she's determined to keep while on vacation in St. Lucia. She'll take the Caribbean sun and sea and plenty of tropical drinks with those cute umbrellas poolside, thank you. She absolutely does not need male company, no matter how tan and rock-hard his body may be. Easy enough, but then Carolyn meets the charming Marguerite Argeneau, who is infamous among her family for her matchmaking prowess.

I've read a few of this series and whilst i tend to enjoy them i do hesitate before purchasing one because they are very similar in each story. I rely on the many reviews listed and i found this audible was accurate. It was a fun filled story, you will laugh often, and it had a little twist at the end that made it different. If you enjoy this series, you will enjoy this one.

One minute Leigh is walking home in the early hours of the morning, and the next a vampire is sinking his teeth into her neck. Turns out it was a rogue vampire marked for termination, but it does Leigh little good because the damage's already been done. She's become one of them.... Lucian Argeneau, hunter of rogue vampires, has been alive for over 2,000 years, and there's very little to excite him anymore. Food has become tasteless, sex is ordinary. Then Leigh drops into his life.

I found this audio light and enjoyable. The story line was as most in this series, however more enjoyable, light and funny. No ego hang ups etc. It was refreshing to listen to both Lucian and Lee's perceptions throughout the audio, loved Julian. Narration was good i felt a more vibrant narration would have given the story a bit more zing.

For Mack McKinley and his team of GhostWalker killing machines, urban warfare is an art. But despite a hard-won knowledge of the San Francisco streets, Mack knows from experience that too many things can still go wrong. Danger was just another part of the game--and now he's come face-to-face with a woman who can play just as tough. She's Jaimie, a woman with a sapphire stare so potent it can destroy a man. Years ago she and Mack had a history--volatile, erotic, and electric.
