"Getting to know Neil Young"
One of my favorite biographies. I felt like i was sitting down with Neil Young as he told me stories about his life.
Neil Young. Listening to the book brought me closer to who the man is instead of just the guy on the records.
Just listening to Neil describe his passion for not just his music, but all music.
That would be nice, if a little impractical. The narrative aspect of it was a nice change from most biographies I have read.
"Can't wait to read the next in the series!"
I will probably re-read this sometime in the future. It was that enjoyable. The story, the character development and the narration were excellent.
The ending took me totally by surprise. No way was I expecting that.
The final scene was probably my favorite.
Very funny in places. It was great to witness the development of the major characters and get to know them as people.
"Perfect for a Battlefield Tour"
If you are planning to visit the Gettysburg Battlefield, this is the book that you need to have with you! Listen to it before your visit and then have it ready as you make your way through the tour.
"An honest, real account of the Iraq War"
This book is a must read by everyone. It does not matter what your position on the Iraq war might be. This Citizen Soldier gives a very honest description of his tour in Iraq. The good and the bad. More than anything, I think it reveals the price that our soldiers pay for their service. My thanks to John Crawford for his service, his sacrifice and his candor.
