I am not a cyclist nor a cancer survivor, and I think this is a great book. I enjoyed it thoroughly, I listened to the whole unabridged audio in just a couple of days. It is very motivating and down to earth. Many of Lance's principles could be applied to many disciplines in life. I love the part where he talked the readers through his personal accounts of the Tour de France in great details. Unlike many other audiobooks that weren't read by the authors, I think this book is very well read by the narrator.
Great book but it could've been better if it was read by Max Lucado himself. I have read most of Max' books and have also listened to Max Lucado. Although this is a great audio book, somehow it just doesn't have that "Max Lucado's magic". The text seems dead when it's read by someone who doesn't share the same passion as the author. The content is great, however if you've heard Max reading his book before, you will be disappointed with how this book is read.
This is a great book but has been poorly cut down. It has been "abridged" too much; and the top quality audio is unsatisfactory. It is still a great simple book nonetheless. If you enjoy other John Maxwell's stuffs, you will enjoy this one too.
