It was whispered all through London society that he was a murderer, that he'd spent his youth in an asylum and was not to be trusted - especially with a lady. Any woman caught in his presence was immediately ruined. Yet Beth found herself inexorably drawn to the Scottish lord whose hint of a brogue wrapped around her like silk and whose touch could draw her into a world of ecstasy.

Where does The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

Right up in the very top. I couldn't and didn't want to put this book down, I enjoyed it so much. It threw me to begin with but I gradually got into it. I was a bit surprised when it dawned on me that Ian is autistic and was very glad that Jennifer decided to write him this way. He was portrayed exactly as I imagined and very eccentric!

What other book might you compare The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie to and why?

Because of Ian autistic portrayal, no other book. It is the first historical novel I have read that has been written this way. I was truly elated with the author for this.

What about Angela Dawe???s performance did you like?

All of it, she did a remarkable job, and kept me interested in the storyline.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, when Beth explained that Ian remembering everything and being able to recall everything was weird at first but she actually came to love that about him. I was so proud of her for actually loving him for who he was and not what everyone was seeing him to be.

    Any additional comments?

I can't wait to catch up on Ian and Beth in the other books in this series.

Would you listen to To Seduce an Earl again? Why?

No, it was dragged out too much and at times bored me. Compared to most of the books that I am listening to this one gave me little interest.

Would you recommend To Seduce an Earl to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes I would because it was an interesting enough story but just too slow for me.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Her characters all sounded the same to me which was not very appealing.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Neither laughed or cried just really wanted it to finish.

Where does Night Fire rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

In the top 20, because I have listened to a lot of them that I just absolutely cannot say a horrible word about.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Night Fire?

When Arielle walked in on her step sister and husband making love and after leaving the room Burke just laughing at her! I also loved, loved when Burke beat the crap out of Evan and Arielle got to punch him. She should have kicked his bollocks in!

What about Anne Flosnik’s performance did you like?

Every last bit!!!!!!!!!!! Anne is one of my favorite narrators so whatever book she is narrating to, I am a listener. Way to go Anne, you brought the characters to life for me and just kept me so engrossed.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The entire story did. I found myself crying and then at time chuckling or laughing out loud. I felt for Arielle with everything she went through and what she overcame. I loved Burke for everything and all that he was for Arielle. I can't wait to read more on Knight, found myself liking him a lot also.

    Any additional comments?

Read this book for the laughing moments but also for the crying.

What made the experience of listening to Prince Charming (Ascension Trilogy) the most enjoyable?

For me the meeting of Daniella and Rafael at the hold up! I could have felt the sparks and it was obvious these two belonged together! The entire book is just a very pleasant, well put together book. I didn't want to put it down.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Prince Charming (Ascension Trilogy)?

The part that stands out the most for me was when Daniella woke up and saw the Queen and Princess standing over her. And when the Queen went to the bed hugged them all and told Daniella that she "now has a Mother". Brought tears to my eyes!!!

What does Nell Geisslinger bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She did a fabulous job narrating the characters. This is my first listening to her and would gladly listen to other books that she narrates.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some parts I laughed, some I had to gasp and chuckle and yes some parts I was in tears!

Determined to find a husband, Miss Eleanor "Nell" Bowman attends a ball put on by the Duchess of Greycliffe, fondly referred to as the Duchess of Love. But she roundly dismisses the suitors the matchmaking hostess has invited on her behalf. For it's the duchess' dashing son Ned, Lord Edward, who long ago captured Nell's heart - and roused her desire. All it takes is a pair of conveniently misplaced silky red bloomers to set the handsome widower's gaze on this unusual girl who is clearly more than meets the eye.

Would you consider the audio edition of Bedding Lord Ned to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version so I can't compare.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Reggie the cat comes first then the Duke and Duchess. They had more action going on than or main characters. If only our author had decided to give Ned and Ellie some more action, kisses even would have helped. I was at more than one time wanting to put this book down because I was so disappointed!

What does Abby Craden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Nothing, she did a good narration job and I liked her character voices.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes all of the scenes when Reggie seems to always have the damn red draws!

    Any additional comments?

Hopefully there is a book about Ash and his wife and we can get more action from them than we did with this book.

This was a good story, I like the characters as well as the storyline. Amanda is one of my favorite authors, I have yet to read one of her books and not like it. The narrator however is another case, I have listened to Barbara read other books and have managed through them. For some reason she always sounds like she is sucking on something be it candy or whatever. In this book, she did not but her voice for Masters (the Earl), I couldn't figure it out. He sounded like someone who spent time in the caribbean or abroad and not british like he should have been considering they were in England. I don't get it?! Was it just me?? Overall, a good book and story.

I gave this book 4 stars because it was good but not as great as the first in the series. It was fun listening to it but not as sit on the edge of your chair, can't put the book down good as I felt with the fist book. The narrator did a good job also though I would have preferred another narrator for this series but well done overall. I look forward to reading other books by Jennifer Ashley.

If you could sum up Temptation & Twilight in three words, what would they be?

Very, very disappointing! Unfortunately, I read book 2 first and now book 3 before book 1. I couldn't wait to read this book after the ending to book 2. Maybe it is me but in book 2 Iain was called Allenwyck whereas in this book he was referred to as Alec and in book 2, Black was a Duke also but here he is an Earl while Iain was an Earl and he is now a Marques. Am I misunderstanding something?

Would you recommend Temptation & Twilight to your friends? Why or why not?

I would recommend it but only because it finishes the series and you might as well complete the series to be able to see where everything ends. Ending was also a bit too abrupt for all that we were imagining throughout the series.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Ms. Stern did a good job reading and for the voices of the characters however I liked the narrator for book 2 better.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I would only make a movie from the entire series not just this book.

    Any additional comments?

I don't know what to say but the author became confused somewhere.

He won't behave, shoot him that will keep him in check and yes you do what you have to do to survive so if that means a gaming hell (all be it) a tasteful one, I say go ahead. Suzanne you have outdone yourself with this series, now just keep them coming. We have enough scandalous ladies in this club behind nice titles to make interesting stories-bring them all to life! I can't wait for the next book!

What did you love best about Lyon's Bride?

The story between Neal and Tess, of course. This was a well put together storyline. Once again Roslyn did an exceptional job narrating and Cathy did well on this storyline.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lyon's Bride?

For me, when the boys along with the Chattom siblings playing marble! Priceless. Then it was all interrupted by the Dowager Chattom.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The scene in Lyon's room with the ladies and later with him and Tess.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I would have had there not been minor interruptions here and there. I finished it however in a day and some hours.

    Any additional comments?

Is there a book 2? I am patiently waiting for it to continue.
