Lea says: "Good basic info and somewhat motivational but...."

Unfortunately, I feel a bit patronized by the narrator, it sounds like Grandma telling a good night tale...

    • UNABRIDGED (9 hrs and 56 mins)
    • By Gretchen Rubin
    • Narrated By Gretchen Rubin
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Gretchen Rubin had an epiphany one rainy afternoon in the unlikeliest of places: a city bus. "The days are long, but the years are short," she realized. "Time is passing, and I'm not focusing enough on the things that really matter." In that moment, she decided to dedicate a year to her happiness project.

Heidi D. Dugger says: "The gift that keeps on giving..."
    "Made me happy"

This book inspired me a lot. It was interesting to listen to and well narrated. It was so packed with details that I'm sure I missed half and will definitely listen to it again. I'm a great fan of the project.

    "Not very convinced"

I'm afraid it's really hard for me to listen to her South African accent. Also, it would be a help if the actual meditation and the introduction were in 2 different chapters, that way you could listen to the introduction once and go straight to the meditational part every next time.

  • Extreme Motivation and Total Confidence: Self-Hypnosis and Subliminal Guided Meditation

    • UNABRIDGED (2 hrs and 28 mins)
    • By Erick Brown Hypnosis
    • Narrated By Erick Brown Hypnosis

"Yes, I know, it seems impossible at times. You don't feel like doing anything. I've been there, and in fact I still feel that way from time to time. You're not alone. Listen to Extreme Motivation and Total Confidence and start take on things you don't feel like doing."

    Martha says: "Very Helpful"
    "This must be a joke"

I honestly considered ending my Audible subscription because of this "book". It is not worth its money and I feel rather cheated as a consumer. The sound is extremely bad and you can't understand a word (there aren't many words anyway and the rest is just ocean sounds). It's not worth the time listening to it. I should get my money back for it.
