A a parent one to the greatest gifts we can give them are tools to deal with emotions and calm themselves. Christiane Kerr's story telling is an effective tool in helping my 4 year old son and 7 year old daughter wind down and pull themselves together - even during those times of hyper activity induced by over exhaustion.
Another entertaining read by Sarah MacLean. Simon is the least likable of men, but you cannot help but celebrate as Julie delivers her lessons on what it means to live. I plan on checking out the other books from this author.
Am I glad I downloaded Fall from India Place? YES! Samantha Young always delivers, but this book was a little disappointing. I am not sure if it is because so much was foreshadowed in prior books in this series or if it is the amount of time spent catching readers up on main characters from prior books - but in the end it just was lacking for original story line.
The fun series continues! Loved that the twin brother found a perfect match in this book. This book features all of my favorites in heroines. Thank you Sara MacLean for an enjoyable listen.
I will download the next book in this series. It is an easy fun and sexy listen. The narration is not bad, but it does not add to the experience either so I am giving the performance only three stars.
I was introduced to Kristen Ashley through Motorcycle Man and then the Rock Chick series. I know she is going to provide me with a fun escape when I start one of her books on audio. :) The Gamble blew away my expectations. I loved the story and character development and supporting characters. Nina may be my favorite heroine of all romance novels!
Kristen Ashley offers a great escape with the audio version of Sweet Dreams. Emma Taylor did a great job narrating as always. Sweet Dreams stars a heroine you cannot help but to love and a great bad ass hot man! This was an enjoyable LONG listen, maybe a little to long. The character development was thorough but seemed to drag between the attack of Sonny and the attack of the heroine.
Credit worthy - YES!
This story is about a young women finishing up college and finding herself by falling into a dream romance during a girls weekend in Vegas. The book was fun, interesting and SEXY! I enjoyed the story line and character development of two young souls learning about themselves and each other during a steamy romance with lots of HOT SEX!.
Other reviewers have remarked on the narrator. My initial thought was to agree with some of the critics, but by the time the couples meet in Vegas - I cannot think of any voice I would rather hear! She does a great job for both the female and male voices and accents and I truly believe the narration is what kicked this book to a solid 5 stars for me. French never sounded that sinful and delectable in my head before! Stick with it. Once the male characters are introduced you will understand why she is the PERFECT voice for this audio book.
Credit Worthy - YES! Purchase Worthy - Do not hesitate! This is a great read to escape into. Enjoy!
Amanda Ronconi reading Molly Harper is always a WIN! I hope to see more Molly Harper coming to Audible.
The editing problem hits at minute 29.
Fatal Affair is truly an enjoyable light read. Marie Force does a wonderful job with the character development. I love Sam, Nick and Freddie! The story line is truly fictional with Nick and Sam having an inappropriate relationship for a witness/investigator, not to mention the willingness of fellow officers to overlook the ethical issues or this relationship. But the storyline is one you want to believe is plausible - the characters are just so compelling. Well deserved 5 stars.
Another great story by Gail Carriger. The enjoyment was hampered by the unnecessary pauses and silence gaps between transitions.
