"DID NOT LIKE THIS AT ALL!"
Only if this was a completely different story or if the story truly had a story. This was a book of sex with words in between hoping to disguise itself as a story.
nothing, it just wasn't for me and I have another that I bought that I don't want to even try because of this book.
I guess, I don't remember
the entire book
I hated this book
"Loved this Book!"
Honestly I doubt it because I don't have any friends that read gay romance as I am a straight woman and only recently took a chance on something new and different.
Deacon and his devotion and love to everyone in his circle.
yes and he was great as always, at least with the ones I have listened to so far.
Yes, but more than one. When Deacon broke down and cried in the hotel after Crick left. When Deacon lost it when Crick mentioned he wanted to leave to visit his friend's family that died in the Army.
If only everyone could have a Deacon in their life!
"It was OK!"
Yes, it was a nice lite mystery and I like all kinds so I will try another.
Less coffee talk, the same as with the authors that have too much recipe talk for food. It gets nauseating after a while.
yes, the narration was well done.
I can't say.
no
"Overall OK"
The setting! There are a few writers that I come upon that I really like their work and want to read more but when they are all set in little one horse towns where everyone knows one another; it loses variety and then starts to become stale with a lot to be desired. And with a murder in each one they would be the murder capital of the US.
Yes but I seriously doubt if I will ever pay for another one. The small town setting is not a draw for me.
Nothing
Heck No, BORING!
none
"Andy Carpenter is the best"
I love Andy Carpenter period. What I liked least was the conspiracy, I though weak for a story.
I would recommend this book because all Andy Carpenter books are worth reading, this was not my favorite but definitely worth reading.
Grover Gardner is the perfect voice for Andy Carpenter, I don't think I've ever heard other books he's done but I like him.
No, perhaps another of his books but not this one.
If you've never read the Andy Carpenter series start them in order.
"Another Winner"
Oh So Funny!
I really can't think of any, Miss Julia is a unique character.
She did better this time than some of her other Miss Julia performances, sometimes she forgets how she did a voice of certain characters from book to book and messes them up bad so she should listen to a previous book before recording the new one.
Yes
I love Miss Julia books though it is a bit nerve wracking how the writer Ms. Ross will forget what she has written from a previous book and will completely change it in the current book when the characters are referring to it. Also she consistently makes Miss Julia sound stupid at times by not having the character make sense. She did it again in this book when she hired a carpenter to build something and goes in detail about how she wants them and only a few sentences later says they are already ordered and just needs to be installed.
"Only Average"
I liked how the story began but how it came together and ended was ridiculous, how he was allowed to be pursued by the police was disgraceful. The story ended up being kinda stupid.
I actually listened to this many books ago, I don't remember what I read next.
Nothing, he was fine.
Heck No, one was enough.
I like stories that make sense and this one just didn't do it for me.
