Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

How did i miss this one!? I would've loved to hear this book when I was younger, but as a twentysomething in the age of post-Harry Potter and Wheel of Time fantasy 'boy-hero' epics, this was a breath of fresh air that was totally engrossing and enjoyable! My only complaint is that with the cast of readers, they tend to switch narrators at seemingly random moments. Other than that, I would still recommend this book 100%!

The future is here...in an adventure of cosmic dimension. In December, 1999, a multinational team journeys out to the stars, to the most awesome encounter in human history. Who - or what - is out there? In Cosmos, Carl Sagan explained the universe. In Contact, he predicts its future - and our own.

Where does Contact rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Incredibly thought-provoking story. Intelligently written without a hint of pretension. Many parts of the story serve as a backdrop for rational discussion regarding the beliefs and faith of scientists and religious practitioners.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Contact?

Conversations between Dr. Eroway and Palmer Joss.

What three words best describe Laurel Lefkow’s voice?

Well-paced. Bad accents. Perfect for Dr. Eroway's voice

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

A couple laugh-out-loud and "aha!" moments.
