It seems like an easy assignment for an assertive but sweet woman like Gracie Snow: track down her friend, Bobby Denton, a famous ex-jock, and bring him to Heaven (Texas, that is) to shoot a movie. How could he refuse a glamorous offer like that? Easy....

Heaven, Texas is one of SEP's best. It's charming, witty and as always, entertaining. Just when you think you know what's going to happen next, the storyline takes on a new twist. SEP never fails to disappoint.

When her last two plays are dismal failures and her relationship with her temperamental mentor falls apart, writer Bree O’Brien abandons Chicago and the regional theater where she hoped to make a name for herself to return home. Opening Flowers on Main promises to bring her a new challenge and a new kind of fulfillment. But not all is peaceful and serene in Chesapeake Shores, with her estranged mother on the scene and her ex-lover on the warpath. Jake Collins has plenty of reasons to want Bree out of his life....

    Overall

I love Sherryl Wood's books. This was a good read as a second in the series. I'm anxious to read Book 3. I do have to admit the Grandmother's Irish accent was distracting but the Texas accent on the bride of the brother.....the WORST. I'm from Texas and found it very offensive and not at all authentic. Not the author's fault.

New York Times best-selling author Rachel Gibson delivers a sordid and quirky romance. Maddie Dupree's mother was once the other woman in a love triangle with Mick Hennessy's parents. It ended tragically. When Maddie returns to Truly, Wyoming, after a long absence, sparks fly between her and Mick. But can white-hot passion erase their painful family histories?

Rachel Gibson is one of my absolute favorite authors. I was thrilled to see one of her books finally available on Audible. As always, her books never fail to disappoint...she is witty, a great story line and her characters are always interesting. Note of warning on this one...she can be a bit graphic at times!! I'm looking forward to more selections from Rachel soon, I hope!

A summer spent traveling across America with cynical, brooding photojournalist Shade Colby was not Celebrity photographer Bryan Mitchell's idea of a dream assignment. But Bryan will have to manage for an entire summer if she wants the fabulous cross-country photo shoot for a book, which they're both salivating over. However, Bryan and Shade disagree about everything...everything, that is, except the fierce attraction they have for each other.
