    • UNABRIDGED (11 hrs and 11 mins)
    • By Randall E. Stross
    • Narrated By Eric Conger
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

The first inside account of life within a Silicon Valley venture capital firm, eBoys is the fascinating true story of the six tall men who backed eBay, Webvan, and other billion-dollar start-ups that are transforming the Internet and setting a new pace for the economy - an audio exclusive!

    Sean says: "Entertaining but misinformed"
    "Art of Not Finishing"

While I enjoyed many of the historical insights, the exchanges and minute details got in the way and slowed down the story. The opening is colorfully painted with cursing which might turn off some readers. I ultimately decided not to finish it about 1/3 of the way.

    • Narrated By Jason Singer, Staci Snell, Liz Claman

To research this unique, invaluable guide, CNBC business journalist Liz Claman took a long, hard look at her extensive list of financial contacts and invited only the smartest and most respected investors and business leaders to contribute to this audiobook. Now, for the first time ever, and in their own words, America's top moneymakers reduce their winning investment strategies to their most fundamental points, divulging what they believe is the most important advice they can give.

Michael says: "A Few Nuggets of Advice"
    "A Few Nuggets of Advice"

I kind of disagree with many of the investment ideals from this series-of-short-advices book, but I did glean some new and confirmed some already known truths about investing. Only sorta worth the listen.

"THE Reason to Listen to Audiobooks"

This is the perfect reason to listen to unabridged audiobooks. I've been following Gary for the better part of 3 years and to have him read his own book and add the comments, side notes, enthusiasm makes this way more valuable than print.

  • Millionaire by Thirty: The Quickest Path to Early Financial Independence

    • UNABRIDGED (6 hrs and 54 mins)
    • By Douglas R. Andrew, Emron Andrew, Aaron Andrew
    • Narrated By Douglas R. Andrew, Emron Andrew, Aaron Andrew

With the principles outlined in Millionaire by Thirty, recent graduates will be earning enough interest on their savings to meet their basic living expenses by the time they're 30. And by the time they're 35, their investments will be earning more money than they are, guaranteeing them a happy, wealthy future.

A User says: "Millionaire by Thirty"
"I wish there was an Abridged Copy"

The information/strategy presented is interesting and I'll be backing it up with further research. Three-stars because the book authors (also the reader) seemed to just be filling time. I put the iPod on double speed to slog through the fluff to get to the meat.

An excellent insight into how to be differently creative and think outside the normal bounds of product development and enhancement. There's a reason IDEO is the best in their field.

  • The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich

    • UNABRIDGED (8 hrs and 18 mins)
    • By Timothy Ferriss
    • Narrated By Ray Porter

The 4 Hour Work Week explains what a lifestyle entrepreneur is and why you should want to become one. It teaches you how to "kill" your job and design a life, the 80/20 rule and how it increases productivity, how to replace your dreams with goals, and more. Listeners can lead a rich life by working only four hours a week, freeing up the rest of their time to spend it living the lives they want.

Tim says: "Some good ideas but, not so sure. . ."
    "Life Changing"

I'm not entirely sure how I came across this book, but it's been life changing. Expertly presented and quite humorous. It should be on your Wish List if not in My Library.

  • Getting Past No: Negotiating with Difficult People

    • ABRIDGED (2 hrs)
    • By William Ury

Joshua says: "Good as quick read, otherwise Getting to Yes"
    "Read It"

If you need to do any sort of negotiation either in personal or professional life, this is a must read. The author writes a clear formula for helping readers get the best possible outcome. It seems a little dry 20-20 hindsight, but expertly organized and presented.
