Good series, but I didn't realize it was just a short story.
unnecessary to the series storyline, but a nice extra
I sometimes wonder if Grisham is still writing his own books...they just don't have that "can't put them down quality" anymore.
Yes - to some friends - need to be open to steam punk and science fiction - which isn't clear at the beginning.
For much of the book, planned on giving it all 5 stars - but had to suspend disbelief so much towards end, and it got weaker as it wrapped up the mystery.
Very hard to put down.
Fascinating as they were figuring out the mystery, lost steam with resolution. Very good narration.
I loved this book. Best of the best.
If you were a fan of the tv show
The sisters - get their take on what they were seeing and perceiving.
The foundation of the book is magic - if you're in the group that has no issue with suspending disbelief you will LOVE this book.
I've been a fan of the Plum series for a long time, and had laugh out loud fun reading the characters and the funny stories. I love the main characters, but a big part of the fun is her interaction with new characters. The last two books in the series though are just a rehash, without any breakout quirky new characters; and I hate to say it but I think it's time to wind the series up between Joe and Ranger. I found I read the last two books hoping for a final ending rather than a good read.
