Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

What did you love best about The Help?

The one thing that really makes this book stand out is the people who narrate the books chapters. If feels like you are in the very room listening to these women's darkest secrets.

What did you like best about this story?

The comedy in the middle of the drama helped to keep the emotion balanced.

Sam Dalton is at the end of his rope. His daughter, Jessica, lies dying in a hospital bed from a mysterious disease that has her doctors completely baffled. Without being able to identify the disease or its cause, they are unable to devise a cure and can offer Sam little hope. All he is left to do is sit there and watch his little girl wither away, day after day. Despair has him wrapped tightly in its bony grip when an encounter with an empty-eyed vagrant he dubs the Preacher gives Sam the opportunity he has been searching for....

Would you try another book from Joseph Nassise and/or Veronica Giguere?

    Maybe.

Would you recommend More Than Life Itself to your friends? Why or why not?

It's good if you want something to entertain you on a short trip in the car.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

I think the narrator should have been a male.

Do you think More Than Life Itself needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

At first I wanted to say no but then it would be kinda cool to have a series of shorts that tied

Across Brattleboro, Vermont, rich people (some with dark secrets) are waking up in their high security, alarm-equipped homes to find a Post-it note stuck to their bedside tables reading, “You’re it.” There is little sign of disturbance anywhere, nothing stolen (that anyone admits) and only a bit of expensive food eaten as a signature. The press loves the story and dubs the burglar the Tag Man. But who is he? And what’s he actually doing?

Raymond says: "good story poor narrator"

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I could probably find something better.

Has Tag Man turned you off from other books in this genre?

    No way.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

This was not the narrator's fault.

Was Tag Man worth the listening time?

    Not really.

    Any additional comments?

This book was nothing like it's description and while It has a good plot twist it gets muddied down by too many characters and character descriptions. I think the book would have been better if the author had spent less time trying to make every person in the story mean some thing to the listener and used the time on fleshing out the main characters instead.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Where does The Fault in Our Stars rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Probably have to say this one rates second to all the audio books I've listened to so far but it's really really hard to beat The Help.

What other book might you compare The Fault in Our Stars to and why?

Anything by Jodi Picoult. These books really make you aware of what it means to actually live it the main character's shoes.

Which character – as performed by Kate Rudd – was your favorite?

    Augustus Waters

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, but only because the book was very short and the writing was so beautiful ,especially chapters 21-23. I just simply did not want it to end so soon.

    Any additional comments?

I listened to this book while walking/jogging and I enjoyed every minute.

What disappointed you about Before I Fall?

I chose this audio book because of the previous reviews. I have only listened to half of it. The story is depressing and I can't even pretend to like the people this books centers around. It makes it really hard to put time into something so dreary.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    so far, disappointment.

    Any additional comments?

I may go back and finish- if I don't have anything else to listen to.

Ravaged by time and abandoned by the people who once flocked there in search of golden nuggets, Ragged-Ass Gulch is a ghost town. What’s left is a small, proud, and close pack of people who aren’t looking for change. But change seems to be afoot as several mysterious fires plague the town. That’s where the Nameless Detective comes in….
