I greatly enjoyed his explanations of how he experiences the world and rate these sections of the book very high. The other information about language development, mathematical reasoning, and other areas were interesting but very dense. If it weren't for interspersing his personal observations I would have found these sections to be less interesting.
Rob Lowe reads it in a very conversational style. In many sections you sense he is truly telling you a story, personally. His many impersonations of celebrities like Cary Grant, Francis Ford Coppolla, Patrick Swayze and Bill Clinton are so entertaining! Lastly, who knew that Rob Lowe was so connected to so many people in history - not merely celebrities. Of all the audiobooks I've listened to this is by far my favorite.
It's a good tale of Tony Hsieh told by Tony Hsieh in an entertaining manner. Overall a good book for the audio format because it's not a how to book, you won't be taking notes throughout, and the take-a-ways are very few. In the end I have an appreciation for customer service and the deliberate action required to make it happen. I'll just say that I'm happy I didn't spend time reading it but rather could listen during my exercise.
