  • New York to Dallas: In Death, Book 33

    • UNABRIDGED (14 hrs and 17 mins)
    • By J. D. Robb
    • Narrated By Susan Ericksen
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

It was one of Eve Dallas’s earliest takedowns, back in her uniform days. A monster named Isaac McQueen had been abducting young victims and leaving them scarred in both mind and body. Thanks to Eve, he wound up where he belonged, removed from civilized society in Rikers. But he’s not behind bars anymore. After his escape, McQueen has two things in mind. One is to take up where he left off, preying on the young and innocent - when necessary, with the help of a female partner all too willing to be manipulated and to aid and abet his crimes.

Debbie Woodruff says: "NY to Dallas"
"Loved it, couldn't put it down!!!"

Like someone else said...the past few books have been lacking, and not as good as many other books in the series...but this one, was great, and I'm so glad that we got some more history on Eve. I did miss some of the usual characters...but the story was so gripping, that I quickly became absorbed in the fact that this was truly all about Eve (no pun intended) I plan to re-listen to it again...I love the narrator...she IS Eve...and she does a masterful Roarke. She makes every character distinct, and it is so easy to watch the movie in my mind as I listen to these books, because the sounds of the characters are so easy to recognize. As usual...can't wait for the next one. Bravo Nora!!!

  • Extreme Exposure: I-Team Series, Book 1

    • UNABRIDGED (10 hrs and 56 mins)
    • By Pamela Clare
    • Narrated By Kaleo Griffith
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Sparks fly when a hardboiled reporter meets a handsome senator. But a political scandal - and attempts on her life - could drive them apart. Or maybe adversity could draw them into a bond even more intense than their steamy sexual embraces.

Amazon Customer says: "Great audio of the first book in a fabulous series"
    "I-Team Series is great"

The author's personal knowledge of investigative reporting, truly comes out in this book. The details of what goes on for a reporter to get a story, is fascinating. This story is romantic there is a great romance to go along with all the fast paced action of the heroine reporters investigative story. All make for a very enticing read, and a book that never gets dull. The narrator is great. I'm usually not a fan of men narrating romance books of any kind...but Kaleo Griffith is great. I've read all of Pamela Clare's I-Team books, and it was great fun re-visting this series via audio. Although it's the same book I read several years ago...the audio makes it seem fresh again! I will be getting the entire series on audio, as each title is released.

  • Bring Me Home For Christmas: A Virgin River Novel

    • UNABRIDGED (7 hrs and 31 mins)
    • By Robyn Carr
    • Narrated By Therese Plummer
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

RITA award winner Robyn Carr’s Virgin River novels are beloved by countless fans. This newest edition to Carr’s wholesome series will have listeners eagerly following each word as a new romance unfolds in the magical town of Virgin River - this time, during the holidays.

SIMARA says: "Ok story... Excellent narration"
"Least favorite of all the VR books"

Let me start by saying I adore the Virgin River series...but this one was lacking. The main story happened all too quickly, and everything about that relationship seemed so one note. I loved re-visiting all the other characters, Jack, Mel, Preacher, and Paige...those parts of the book were fabulous...but Denny and Becca's relationship lacked emotion for me. won't stop me from getting the next book in this series...I love that town, and the people that live there!
