As with the previous book, he grabs you right away. You can't wait for the next book to be published so you can continue reading the story. Wonderful!
I'll still try the next book because I love the combination of life stories plus quilting tidbits. It is the first book of the series that did not "grab" me. But I will still read the next one.
I love this series but this last book was written to get to a deadline on time and you could feel it all through the book. Disappointed...
It was missing a clear list of who is speaking when. And then there are some "classes" that are fabulous such as Patricia Fripp and others but it is difficult to know who is speaking. Chris Widener is also good. I think it was still worth listening since you could learn something with each person.
I am so glad to have found another series that is just what I look for when listening to books. Entertainment with some mystery but not gruesome and always a bit of humour without being silly. I am looking forward to the next books.
It is a well written, lovely book! Enjoyed immensely! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves books and quilting!!!
I loved her other series, this was definitely not in the same league. It was difficult to finish.
The whole time I was waiting for something else to happen... Maybe it was my mood but i found it a bit boring.
It is light but not silly. Combines cooking with romance and murder. What more can you ask?
As usual, these books are well written, intelligent and entertaining. Love the series!!
Interesting and not silly
Wonderful voice. I have only listened to her in this series.
As usual, Jeffrey Archer, writes well and his stories are extremely entertaining. I enjoyed every single book I have read that was written by him but this series is EXCELLENT. I highly recommend it.
